He has served as the Clinical Moderator of Mt. St Mary's Hospital HERO and CHEERS programs which aim to tackle obesity and other health issues facing our community youths. Dr. Ferguson is actively involved with Kids Create Hope, an organization which raises money for pediatric cancer research. He also serves as the School Physician/Medical Director for the Lewiston Porter School District. In 2015, Dr Ferguson was voted “Top Doc” in pediatrics and was featured in Buffalo Spree magazine.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Ferguson's greatest love is spending time with his wife and two young children. An avid woodworker, his passionate hobby is cutting hand-made artistic wooden jigsaw puzzles, which have been featured in prominent woodworking publications.
Thomas R Gerbasi, MD, FAAP:
Dr. Gerbasi has been active in Rotary for over 20 years and, besides fundraising for local charities, has been deeply involved in the Rotary Gift of Life program which brings children from the third world with congenital heart disease to North America for life saving surgeries.
Jayne Overholt, MSN, PNP:
Jayne attended the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she earned her Master's and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification in 1997, and has worked at our practice ever since. Prior to this, she worked as a registered nurse in the newborn nursery at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital for 10 years.
When Jayne is not attending to the medical care of children, she enjoys time with her family and friends, exploring the great outdoors, and the endless pursuit of fine chocolate.
